Booked the Esplanade Hotel for the weekend, free cancellation until the 21st. You do not want to know what it cost.  But fingers crossed!

I think it`s unlikely that any airshows will happen this summer due to the on going Covid-19 situation.

I fear you're correct.  I've events cancelled into 2022 already, I think largely due to inability to get cancellation insurance.

I really don't see anything happening in the South. But in the GB & NI I could see a few things happening from July onwards, the vaccine roll out is going really well.

I say that with hope, but won't be too surprised if there is not much this year.

I'm hoping for RIAT, but more hopeful for Duxford in September.

The one thing I will say, this is a good start for Bray, at least in planning. The last few years had been very lackluster so its great they can pull a big international display again.

Just got an email confirmation that the Royal Air Tattoo have been cancelled for this year due to uncertainty with COVID 19

Yup

I think I've lost out on my hotel. But tickets will roll over to next summer.

Given how close RIAT is to Bray, and how far ahead UK is with vaccine compared to the South, Bray is a no go I am sure.

Depends, remember the NHS have the 3 month gap on vaccine doses. 
I just need off this island, if I have to buy a house in Mexico I'll do it!

Looks like it won't happen. Not seen an official announcement but their website has now changed its message to 'See you in 2022" the same message is in their twitter bio.
