I remember it well, it was a really cold day, I got off work to go up and see it. Loads of people at Killead end for it landing.
Then the guessing game began of which runway it would sue to depart, and best view etc.
I went down to Woodgate area, as it didn`t matter which runway it used, as you would see something.
Later some people came up and said it was cancelled and wasn`t leaving until the next day.

Eventually it appeared and taxied down to 07 end, then off she went into the sunset ( sort of ).
I recognise a few people in the video from my time at BFS, I started working there the following year.

As far as I remember there were some tech issues and it was looking like it would be departing the next day so the rumours outside the fence was probably accurate enough at one point in time. I was close to heading home but decided to stay on - was worth it.
