BFS Movements 24th May 2022

1641 Sunwing Airlines Boeing 737-8FH C-FPRP departed BFS for REU as TOM2YL was meant to depart 1425.

1645 Wamos Air Airbus A330-243 EC-NCK departed BFS for PMI as TOM96H was meant to depart 0600 this morning

Clearly there is " trouble at mill " with Thomson already this season. IMOHO I would not book a holiday with Thomson / TUI , there are long delays and problems every year.

On a different note I noticed Jet2 flight from IBZ to BFS was operated by B737-8AS G-DRTY , a strange choice of reg. :D

Due 2004 is SmartLynx Airbus A321-231 YL-LCQ from NCL as EXS308T. Possibly in partial Jet2 scheme.

Is it me or are the airlines really struggling with kit and staff problems right across the board ? The last couple of weeks has been nothing but reported issues with cancelled flights all over and I saw a post in regards to people giving off about the security at BFS again.

The Sunwing/TUI was hit by a loader which was then grounded causing the issues on Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues, it was back flying today so it must be ok


Flybe had couple of flights cancelled last night as well
