Enniskillen used to be a pretty decent air show I always thought

My first airshow was Enniskillen. I remember the Swordfish display and amazed it didn't fall out of the sky it was so slow

It beats be how Bray (another free seaside airshow) has been able to pull in such exotic items such as Patrouille Suisse, Patrouille Tranchant, Spanish Air Force F-18, Royal Jordanian Falcons whereas at Portrush we seem to be stuck with the likes of Huey and Loach year on end?  ???

I suspect it being around the same time as RIAT might have a bearing, in that they would already be in this part of the world.

One more reason to move Portrush to the summer months.

It's very unlikely I'd say unless Portrush can secure a similarly big end of summer season blowout which attracts similar crowds to the area.
Although I agree the middle of the Summer would be far better for aircraft

The IAA also seem to heavily influence and support the Bray show which helps attract the bigger displays. Given the load of regulations our CAA has over displays now I would think a lot of displays would have 2nd thoughts about doing a seaside show in the UK.

These are the Hawks that went to Prestwick but I don't know which ones came to Portrush.

Thanks for that, 204 seems to be a new machine for the Reds...but did it make it over here I wonder - no way of telling I guess! :)

Finally got around to editing and uploading, didn't take too many shots at Portrush this year, only about 250. Even with a 63x optical zoom I found it hard to get good close up photos. I've noticed the camera isn't as sharp as it used to be, maybe time for a new one before Cosford next summer.
