Aldergrove Approach Frequency
« on: July 14, 2021, 01:57:24 PM »
I thought it was very quiet on 128.5 .....
It seems they are using 133.125 instead at the moment ...
Not sure whether this is due to service of the main transmitter or something else?

As per the NOTAMS this appears to be a permanent change of frequency.

Oh poppycock!!
My reception of the ATC side of 128.5 was always touch and go most days , and depended on conditions.
133.125 is rubbish from my location , and seems to have a LOT of interference, and I certainly can't hear the ATC side of things
:(

Hi as a matter of interest whereabouts are you when you’re picking this up interference on 133.125?

Gonna miss hearing aircraft being referred to 128.500. :(

Yes, sad day....
I used to be able to even pick up 118.3 tower frequency, but that was a long while ago...
