News:

Apologies for the down time over the past couple of days. I've got to the bottom of the issue so hopefully everything should be back to normal.

So does anyone know if it arrived in today? Is it possible that the time for Thursday is a possible time for departure?

General Aviation / Website Issue
Last post by casper - Apr 27, 2024, 07:19 PM
Hi guys,
posting here as I forgot to create a 'website news' section lol.
As some of you may have noticed there was a a day or two were the site was unavailable. It turns out that the issue was down to the fact that the account I use on the webserver had gone over the maximum number of files that I'm allowed. This number is 250,000. Now that may seem like a lot, and it is, but the issue is that I host more than just this site on the server.
To try and get the file numbers under control I'm going to have to remove the 'Archive' of the site. I'm hoping this is only a temporary move and that I will be able to restore it at some time in the near future.

Quote from: JasonT1981 on Apr 22, 2024, 05:29 PMThe RAF Typhoon display team revealed their new display jet for 2024, in D-Day markings of a Hawker Typhoon. Blackjack will still be around, and used as the back-up aircraft apparently

Saw this on TedCongisby's YouTube being towed to its stand with the blackjack in the foreground of the video. I think it really suits the scheme

Quote from: rookie on Apr 22, 2024, 11:45 AMHi guys I'm currently looking for a new job and I've stumbled across the driving position at dnata catering at BFS. Does anyone on here have any experience of them or any contacts at BFS who could shed some light on them. Only reason I've saw the job advertised quite often and don't know if it's a bad sign or not.either post up here or PM me if you want. Thanks in advance guys
Hi, I worked for them when they were Alpha Flight Services. Not bad rates of pay and not hard work. The mix of day and night shifts weren't too bad either.

Yeah it's good rate of pay . It's advertised as day shift they did have a nightshift position before. But I'm worried it is crap work or was the company a nightmare to work for and that's why it's always posted .
