They do, however last time they were in NI (Newcastle 2014) they used a Sky Caravan

They also have a Dornier DO228,but I`m not sure if they use it for actual displays.
The RAF Falcons have been very unlucky with displays in NI over the years due to weather, lack of aircraft etc.

Agreed, how about an invite to the Spanish Navy to send a couple of their AV-8B Harriers to display, before they retire them?

The last time i heard the term 'wokka', one landed in one of our fields about 20 years ago, regret not having the camera that day lol

Quote
Alongside the RAF flying programme, it has been confirmed that the Swiss Classic Formation will make its Portrush debut this year. This vintage trio will entertain the crowds with its unique brand of excitement created by the Beech 18 and DC-3 aircraft. The event will also feature the Global Stars aerobatic team, the Catalina sea plane, the Sea Fury and the Calidus Autogyro. And with more aircraft still to be confirmed it looks set to be an action packed two days on the Causeway Coast

I'm surprised the BBMF are not sending the Dakota also to form 'Trenchard' formation, given Portrush is one of the major national 'RAF 100' airshows.

Wildcat's are a pretty good display. Enjoyed them more than the Trig's Pitt Special team.

Aside from the DC3 & possibly the Sea Fury though I am unsure if there is anything I want to see.

I note the Red Arrows are closing the Scottish Airshow with their display starting at 1630-that would suggest they will open the Portrush show, which may cause a mass departure after they are finished.

I quite like the Huey display, but it does seem very little difference this year aside from the DC3/Beech 18. Very on the fence on if I should go or not. I guess I will see what the weather is like. Global stars are good, but I've seen them quite a bit now.

One thing that surprises me is that this is meant to be an RAF100 official show but Newcastle is getting a lot more RAF support.

I think Portrush 2015 was the last time I said ' WOW I must get to this show' in regards to an NI show.

Yeah, the Mig will be back apparently, just not announced yet.

With the RAF 100 and the one of the Vampires in 72 Squadron markings I am surprised it will be the Mig and not Vampires.
