Lancaster given all clear, and with a successful air test will return in time for Scampton tomorrow. Other BBMF aircraft to follow.

Great news from OC BBMF - "I am delighted to announce that the BBMF Lancaster (with just an air test to go) and a Hurricane are now serviceable and will be flying at the Scampton Airshow tomorrow, together with our Griffon-powered Spitfire. This is thanks to the long hours put in by our engineers (and those of Rolls Royce and Retro Air) and we hope to have more of our fleet airborne next week in time for the Guernsey and Jersey airshows."

Is see that the fault was something to do with the pinion gear.

Plus Hurricane LF363 this afternoon.  No doubt attending RAF Scampton.
