You could be right. It's in my Basestation database as belonging to Westair Aviation.

Took a walk down today, and got a good few pictures. Give me 10 minutes I'll sort though them and put them up. Only other Helicopter I saw today was the PSNI helicopter.

And the PSNI one (which was actually very hard to get focus on (let alone find in the sky at the time)

I was on my way back to see if I could get into the grounds when I heard her power up for take off. I took a long walk up the beach to see if I could find a sneaky spot for the golf, but the heat got to me before I found somewhere.

There was also a light aircraft doing the rounds, didn't get a shot of it. I could hear something  that sounded a lot like rotor blades throbbing in the distance as I was getting on the bus home, but couldn't see anything.

I was in a shop on the way home, had the camera around my neck, the shop assistant asked if I had a good day at the golf. She seemed surprised when I told her I only cared for the helicopters  ;D

May take a walk down again tomorrow and see if anything else is about.

Didn't bother going down, weathers pretty bad here.  will take a walk down tomorrow as I am in town anyway. Meant to be better weather.

Not heard anything about today. Not even the PSNI helicopter.

Don't suppose anyone caught what went into the Slieve Donard / Royal County Down this afternoon at 4.30pm?

I was down, and not one Helicopter about, as soon as I get on the bus to head home, something comes in. Left again pretty quickly at 4.42pm or so (according to my phone) as I was on the bus along the coast, it was heading to the south east of Newcastle upon take off.

Someone just reported an a109 being on SBS, that's maybe your culprit?

I came out of Lidl at about 17:25 and was getting into my car when I heard rotors. I looked towards the Percy French to see a metallic blue and silver A109 at around 100' heading SW. I didn't get the reg due to glare from the sun (seriously).

I checked my PP log and it shows reports received from a Castle Air A109E G-HCFC  at 1746; 1752; 1813 and 1829.

My wife says she saw a blue and silver helo going into the golf course on Tuesday.

According to airport-data.com, G-HCFC has had a number of previous regs; N1ZL; N27BD; N27BV; N108WP; 5N-BGX; N109TD; N551MM
