GDVIP visiting this morning

I also have A109 G-HSAR in the logs using c/s TRIDENT 04 on the ground in the Ards area at 12:53.

From G-INFO it appears that it is a different airframe than 'DVIP

Any takers?

That's another mystery solved! Thanks.

Perhaps they kept the box when HSAR was exported.

Now that I think about it e we had the same conversation about a year ago!

Anyone catch an Autogyro up that way this week? Was told one was flying around the area, seemingly from Bangor heading to Ards direction on Tuesday, apx 8pm.

Twisters arrived around 15:15 ( hard to be precise as the webcam was stuck on Friday ) and up again 16:50 for their second display of the day.

Here they are at 17:25, back and having a drink.  I believe it is G-SWIP ( pink )  and G-ZWIP ( blue, transponding ).

M-BONO also parked-up.

Other movements on the radio this afternoon were G-__IG ( looked like a Vans from afar so probably G-CEIG ) and G-__TF ( no visual ID ).

I've had a look but can't see anything much in the area at the time.  Unfortuantely I was indoors at the time so it could have pottered over without triggering the Smudge Alert :(

I can hear PA31 G-CITY going engine runs.  Haven't seen that bird flying in a while.

Correction my previous statement, actually G-JINX ( orange ) and G-ZWIP ( blue )

Shame about the weather but a lovely display.

G-CWTD is apparently being purchased to replace G-CEDR Ikarus 42 that crashed
