Love is in the air.  PA18 G-ARCT out sunning itself on the apron today, looks fine.

Taytocopter R44 G-CEAU was in the area around 11:00.  May have landed at Ards but I was elsewhere at the time.

A convoy of Vans ( PYPE, RVNI and CEIG ) arr 11:45 from a wee trip to the south.

11:10 DR40 G-BKVL dep.  Didn't notice him arrive earlier, will check webcam for evidence.  Webcam says: arr 13th around 16:20.

12:15 A109 M-IDAS arr from the south.  Dep with a roar 13:35

15:10 C42 G-CIIN arr.  Dep 16:15

15:20 C172 G-TDRA heading south from Derry, I wondered where it was these days.   Left Ards on 2016-01-13 and didn't return, though it has passed by a few times since.

Perhaps G-BGPJ?

I think G-TDRA is based down at Kernan Aviation-it`s owners have a Tandragee address,so it would make sense.

Could be that one indeed smudge - the webcam seemed to be off the air from around 12:30-15:30 yesterday so can't have a look to compare

G-TDRA has always been based at N'Ards with it's current owners though it seems to have been flying into Eglinton a few times recently. Kernan Aviation is a primarily a microlight strip - a Cessna 172 wouldn't have a mission getting in and out of there.

Can I have my head back please? I have never been there,so I wasn`t sure, like Smudge said I haven`t seen it at Ards for quite a while.

18th

Heli-Day at Ards.  Small Smudge very disappointed as Daddy decided to go to Tesco instead and we just saw them overhead.  Silly Daddy Smudge!

13:15 AS55 G-BPRJ arr as PDG61, dep 14:15 heading NW

14:15 R44 OY-HLE arr, dep 14:40 heading NE

Plus R44 G-ONEP clattering around as usual

Logged but not seen was R44 G-ETNT passing through the zone at 13:00 southbound and 15:15 northbound.  May have been at the Big Airports at each end of the trip.

An unusual sight was a stream take-off of four of the club aircraft; 'BNXU, 'UFCN and a pair of the 172s all departing after 13:45.

The C42 looks more like a Jabiru which is likely to be G-CCEL at a guess as the other based one G-CBJM never seems to fly these days.

The Cub is likely to be G-PIPR which was in to have a new radio fitted
