Anyone happen to pick up anything around Newcastle at Apx 4:30/4:35pm.

Walking down the main street an Aircraft went very low over the beach towards the mountains, closely followed by a 2nd aircraft seconds later.

I am assuming UFC but they looked a good bit  bigger than the Cessna 172's to my eyes at least.

I noticed  EV97 G-CESV, G-CENB and PNR2 G-CGMW back in trail about 16:50, might have been your visitors.  All are low-wings though.

Also up at that time were COY2 G-BZKO and T400 G-CGLZ pounding the circuit.

Thanks, Smudge. This must be them. Just been told there was actually 3 of them (I must have missed the first one) along the beach in a trail at the time.
