Virgin Atlantic BFS Flights
« on: June 29, 2017, 11:02:19 AM »
Has anyone managed to find a timetable for the BFS Virgin Atlantic flights?
I recall some local media said they were going to run from late March to September, but I think that was for next year (2018 season).

It looks like the flights started mid June but look to end sometime in July. :-\

Anyone know a good location to take photos of the 747 tomorrow on takeoff? I got a few last year of her landing but want to try and get a few different ones this year.

If they are using 25 for takeoff, the 07 end is a bit tricky - there is not many places to park other than Aldergrove Church, and you could maybe walk back along the road a bit,but it`s a fast road so not really recommended.

Due out at 1355.

Yea that's where we're planning to go, never been to that carpark before so will be interesting. We just got a few pics of her coming in so hopefully they turn out good.

Nice shots there-the website only allows 3 mall pics per post,as photos eat up band width and costs more money,so what most folk do is use a photo hosting site, and post a link to their pics.
We also strongly advice you watermark your photos in some way to protect your copyright, even on the hosting sites.

The B747 is most impressive I think when taking off-I recall my little nephew the first time he saw one,and he exclaimed "look at all those wheels!"  ;D

Hi everyone, can anyone advise what sort of time the virgin flight is due in today as im trying to arrange a time to get up and see it. I know its due out at 13.55. Historically does it come in an hour before leaving or is it in longer than that.?
Thanks.
