Wind across NI tomorrow than snow forcast for friday.
« on: December 07, 2011, 08:40:14 PM »
Looks like the winds will be coming out of the west at about 30 gusting up to 50-60 miles an hour with rain tomorrow. Than on friday there is going to be snow with a bit of wind to but not as bad. A bit of a mix this week. Could cause a bit of a problem for air travellers.

Thursday sounds like it could be very rough, especially for Scotland.Friday looks like there could be a fair amount of snowfall here, hopefully only on the higher ground.
Snow is beautiful to look at,but horrible to try and drive through-lets hope it doesn`t last too long.

Seems now that there will be significant snowfall across all parts of Northern Ireland assisted by winds of 60-80mph on Thursday, Friday, and continuing on in to Saturday, Wind seems likely to die down progressively.  Up to 3-4 inches is likely especially to the north and east of the province. I think it would be a smart statement to say, there WILL be travel disruption.
