Hi a bit late sorry; there were good clear comms here in NI 2 way I assume aircraft to aircraft on 241.925 at 19.25. Just started a "hook up" now. Reg EC-335 on Radarbox. Also face mask callsign Tarnish? Strobes are causing problems with the onboard camera. Some banter about having turned off the strobes that they were needed on again. Female crew member on tanker saying she "gets blamed for everything".
Not related but just noticed a green laser over Bangor hard to tell where but in the sorta Bloomfields Shopping Area.

Tarnish callsign is usually used by BAe stuff from Warton.

I used to hear Tarnish/Avro callsigns quite a bit a few years back. I think they used to have a nimrod on the go too. Avro 04 sounds a familiar c/s. I don't have a big aerial up at the moment so didn't get anything on the frequency you posted. Is it all quiet now?

Hi Ringo yes stopped about 8.00ish. I have several Warton frequencies on the radio from a visit there (outside the fence) a couple of years ago. I saw it on the Radarbox and locked down the Warton freqs and bingo great entertainment for over an hour. I think all the Test Pilots from Warton use Tarnish with additional identifying digit(s) Sad or what!!!

Ohh the laser Bloomfields I said. Ooooppppssss try an organised event at Scrabo Tower. Thought it was either a very large laser or must have been close to me. Laser will be visible to 17th March.

Thanks Casper
126.575 Warton Radar Standby air to air, 129.525 Approach/Zone, 129.725 Radar, 130.575 Operations, 130.800 Tower 2, 131.600 BAE/Felix Company Operations, 233.175 Approach 3, 234.650 Radar PAR, 241.925 Discrete Evaluation 7, 264.750 Tower/Approach 1, 338.450 Discrete Evaluation 8, 341.775 Discrete Evaluation 5, 370.750 Boffin, 389.450 Operations.
Off those above the Evaluation Frequencies offer traffic when tests are ongoing. The other in this list above have proven useful when nearby the Airfield.
455.475 Airfield Ops, 455.625 Ground Ops, 455.775 Airfield Tankers, 456.675 Tankers. These are more likely to raise a taxi company locally but again useful when nearby the airfield.
Warton is well worth a visit not a lot of traffic but some good stuff when it is there. Local spotters are very friendly and helped me out on getting there and then with this sort of information. You can get shots like this from the crash gate
