Recent wind in Dublin is from 220 degrees min 34kts gusting up to 50 kts which makes both runway 16 & 28 out of limits for many aircraft.

I'm listening to Scottish 127.275 & 123.775 and BFS 128.5 & 118.3  :)

Winds starting to pick up at BFS atm with wind sheer on short final!

BFS now closed for 20-30 mins to start up for runway works so deffo no more for BFS for 30 mins.

Just looked on FR24 and quite a gaggle of flights in the hold to the north and south of Dublin.


2 Aer Lingus flights diverted to Glasgow,Aer Lingus Munich flt seems to be heading for Liverpool or Manchester.


Wind picking up at BFS as well now.

Ei529 and EI699 have climbed-looks like Glasgow for them.


Still plenty of traffic joining the hold around Dublin-what a nightmare.

Certainly one of each on its way,and possibly more-notice Ryanair FR557 seems to be attempting a landing at Dublin now.


Looks like 3 Ryanairs on the way to BFS now.

Indeed,but it`s interesting to watch-a few Ryanair seem to have their brave boots on,and are attempting landings at Dublin.
