Fly Harrier - Sea Harrier restoration to flight
« on: January 06, 2020, 08:56:14 PM »
The rumours are true, a Harrier (or two) is being restored to flight. CAA approved two harriers onto the civil registry a few months back (Aug 2019). A Harrier T.8 and a Sea Harrier F/A.2. are registered to Fly Harrier Ltd of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Looks to be based out of St Athan. Not sure if true, but apparently the owners are also owners of the North Weald Gnats

There is at least one Sea Harrier flying in private hands in the USA, so maybe this will work, but I just hope they keep VTTS Fleming well away from it.  :-X

As for not letting it hover in displays, well that would rather defeat the purpose, and they are a long way yet from having any sort of flight, let alone a display sequence.

I for one would love to see a Harrier display at UK airshows again, so I will watch this project with interest.
