So we're all interested in things that fly but what aircraft have you 'sat up front' in? Personally I have only every sat in the cockpit of one, that was a DC-9 that belonged to British Midlands. I was on work experience with the British Midlands ground crew and that's when I got the opportunity. Also got to see the avionics bay which was at the rear of the plane. Was brilliant :)

				A Jag you lucky sod.

			-
Bring back the Jaguars! One of my favourite aircraft of all time. Nice and loud and in my eyes, great looking! As casper says, you lucky sod!

The flight in the Jaguar was amazing ;D-I was in the Air Cadets at the time at summer camp at RAF Lossiemouth.
3 of us were lucky enough to be drawn from the hat,and had a 20min flight in the Jag.
It was terrifiying, but brilliant at the same time-those G-suits REALLY hurt!!! :o
Flew for 5 mins at low level, which was like being locked in a tumble drier-the rest of the flight was at 5-10,000 feet and I got to take control-that was really cool.
Acceleration was simply incredible-goodness knows what the Typhoon must be like!
I very much miss the Jaguar-I think it was a BIG mistake by the MOD to retire it early-still a very capable aircraft and I am certain the RAF would still love to operate them.
They recently had massive refits and upgrades to ensure they would be servicable until 2030 and then they got the chop. ???
Well done MOD-Well done Labour government and your defence cuts-Idiots >:(
