Hello!

I've heard confirmation today of the A300 retirement dates, stretching from Nov 2013 to March 2014.

I just wanted to contribute my request that Monarch consider an enthusiast retirement tour or flight before they're all gone!  Such a classic aircraft that has given such long service.

Monarch does (did) do aviation enthusiasts day, the last 1 I know of was on the A330 out and A321 back I think to Gatwick with a behind the scenes tour at Gatwick

Very nice!  So perhaps there is hope...

I was a little disheartened as on their blog they seem to be focusing on selecting an animal mascot and promoting the Monarch Ice Cream Van..

A300-600 looks fantastic in Monarch colours.
