Oops bit of a slip up on my part. Sorry for the late creation of this thread.

Very nice Steve-was a great day for contrails-I saw quite a few while I was in work today, but no camera with me.
-
Cheers AT!
-
20 second exposure. Light pollution to the north is Bangor :(
Sweet! Tried something similar at CDG a while back (attached).

-
Very nice effect guys-I was going to attempt a few contrail shots today, but the wind was much too strong, plus when something was due OTT the clouds seemed to know and smother it. :(
-
Drat! I was contemplating taking a few contrail pics today if anything interesting came OTT BFS Area, and as I looked out saw a Qatar B777 Cargo flight go over and I missed getting a pic.
Lot of high whispy cloud now,but I note on FR24 Air France A380 F-HPJH is headed our way possibly (looks like its going up the North Channel now :( ).
-
Still a nice shot Smudge,it was lovely and clear when it went over me,but I was in lazy mode. :)
-
SIA A380, and Air Berlin A330.

-
Went for that one too..not being quite sure what it was!

-
Nice shots there chaps-nice to see a bit of blue sky for a change.
-
Very good Smudge;I must try and get a few high flyer shots my self, but the weather never seems to play ball on my days off.
-
His football team, Fulham, were playing Manchester United after I snapped this at 16:23. Perhaps it had dropped him off for the match?
He sold Fulham to an American last year Smudge....
-
Didn`t get to see much today with all the cloud about, but caught these two freighters.
Air France Cargo B747-428F ER F-GIUA at 32,000ft, and DHL Air G-DHLF Boeing B767-3JHF at 33,000ft.
Both were really a bit too far away for a decent shot, but I had a go anyway.

-
Thanks Smudge, yeah DHL tend to be night prowlers, and you normally only see them late on in the summer months.
-
A few attempts from today.

-
Good stuff Steve. I gave-up trying from Ards, claggy gunge moved in later in the morning. :(
Maybe tomorrow...
Cheers smudge.
-
Still impressive,I remember watching this go over a few years back.
-
Some from this morning, including Lufthansa A380..

Nice catch with the ANZ 8)
-
Most odd,I have seen that a few times, but never as clear as in that shot-very nice. :)
-
Some contrail shots from last Sunday-still haze about and most went slightly south of me,so a bit close to the Sun at times. 8)

-
Some more............

-
Just got the desktop PC back from repair (at last) ;D There's a prog on Quest now bout aircraft contrails - looks like the usual bunkum so far ::)
-
Lovely clear skies up here at BFS most of afternoon-ideal for contrail spotting-but so far I have seen diddly squat going OTT,plus as a bonus the moon is in a good position for a shot,if anything were flying over. ::) Sod`s Law again.
-
A couple from Dublin today..
First United 787 that I have seen...
(https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3831/13673116133_b79f21b7f7_z.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/mQfi4B)

Very Nice Don and Smudge-only two I got today were a AF B777 and a KLM 747 which drifted close to being it shot with the moon, but not quite-drat!

French Air Force just over Ards a few minutes ago F-RAJB, good looking A340!
-
A little unusual to catch a Turkish eastbound.
TC-JJG op. THY10 from Los Angeles at lunch time this morning, to the south over the Peninsula so back-lit for a jazzy contrail effect.
(http://occurs.lineum.org.uk/public/overflights/2014/04/.THY10_B77W_4BA947_TC-JJG_6S1E2677_2014-04-08_m.jpg) (http://occurs.lineum.org.uk/public/overflights/2014/04/THY10_B77W_4BA947_TC-JJG_6S1E2677_2014-04-08.JPEG)
I was waiting for that to OTT here, but cloud sneaked in and blocked my view.

There was so many contrails over BFS this morning at around 0850ish;I could actually see 3 aircraft contrailing plus around 5 or 6 older contrails.Quite impressive sight.
-
Oh that is nice;I missed it going OTT-I was watching The Big Bang Theory. ;D
-
Cargolux B748 that just went over, out of the Sunset

Very nice

747 from this morning, Gulfstream from this evening...

-
Was that Virgin 747 around lunch time? I was sitting out the back eating my grub and one passed over heading directly south, then made a sharp turn to the west. Most odd!
Yes, was around lunch time..was watching the Ballygowan stage of the Rally when I spotted it.

Funny in the last day or so I've noticed a few aircraft cruising that haven't showed up on flightradar, I've been standing with it in my hand, looking at them while it tells me they're not there!

If my memory serves me right, the first aircraft was Lufthansa and the second Kalita Air?? Correct me if I'm wrong! Took them from the Maze site yesterday morning around 10:30/11. Just had the FR24 app on my phone, so couldn't get much info. First post of contrails as well!!

A few from yesterday.

Nice pictures Stevie.
-
Good trail there breney. They seem to be hogging certain routes at the moment which is leading to trailing and clustering. To be encouraged!
Passing over Lough Neagh, Ards Pen. seems to be very popular at the moment, there's not as many as there used to be in the mornings down here towards the border, they seem to favour staying northwards

Nice pictures Stevie.
Cheers Steve D.
