That really is stupid  :o -I wonder does the pilot realise he is just inches from killing himself,his crew and those on the ground.

I recall my grandad (He was in the RAF Police) telling me about a pilot who decided to do a low inverted pass in a Chipmunk at RAF Turnhouse and he stuck it straight into the ground killing himself and his student-not clever!

Also a lot of base commanders didn't allow victory rolls over their base during WWII. This was in case there was any battle damage to the aircraft involved.
