With my car being off the road I walk to and from work and with these mornings being very clear I just love watching the aircraft as they pass high overhead. Most are 2 engine, some 3 and the occasional 747 or A340. But I was beginning to wonder if there will ever be a time when we migh catch a glimpse of an A380 overhead?

Fortunately that time will come, as currently we get alot of BA 747's overhead, and they will be replacing some of these 747's with A380's around 2012. We already got the odd test flight over Belfast.
I refer you to this thread :) I remember that day well, as all the NI spotters went crazy :D

Pictures from when I met the beast in 2008. I only had a cheap £10.99 digital camera back then so excuse the quality :) I'm on the left in the first picture with a friend on the right.

Pictures do nothing to help the looks of this aircraft. It's only until your up close with the beast in real life that you realise how amazing she looks!!!
