Title: Blood Moon
Post by: Angry Turnip on October 12, 2014, 02:30:25 PM
Did anyone see the weird "blood moon" the other evening around 1930hrs? It was pretty spectacular, and a very deep red, then gradually faded to normal after 20 mins or so.

I manged to get a few shots, handheld so not the sharpest.

Cool!  I didn't realise the eclipse was partially visible from here.  Was that on the 8th?

Ironically I was indoors at an astronomy lecture when it seems to have been visible  :-\
