Went up to Antrim Area Hospital to see the helo that's being used for time trials for the Ireland Air Ambulance. Took quite a few photos - will try and get some posted later. In the meantime check out UTV live tonight (6pm I think) as they had a news crew there as well.

Thanks, i will watch it tonight.
can't wait to see the pics.

Ahhh great photo! I didn't realise members of the public could get so close to the helo pad at Antrim Area Hospital.

A good zoom lens helps ;) ;)
Yes a great pic - well done.I heard the pilot remark that the weather was much better up that way than down here.I don't think they actually landed at the Erne Hospital (if they did it was a very short stop),and i hope they are able to put down at Tesco in Ekn tomorrow so i can get some close ups myself. The weather is still pretty crap here :(
Get some more pics edited and posted soon 8) 8) ;)

Nice work.
Were there any other photographers / spotters there?
-
There was one elderly guy there with a video camera, but most of the other photographers where with the Air Ambulance.

A neighbour of mine has an Agusta 109,I think he is a racehorse breeder, never managed to get a shot of it but it lands at his house approx 1 mile from me.Has a hanger for it in his vast garden.
I don`t know the owner but my boss does-wouldn`t do to call at his door and say "Mister-can I see your helicopter?" ;D
But I might one of these days.

If it's the same one that visits Sloane from time to time i probably have a pic - but i'm damned if i can put a reg to it at the minute ??? ???
