Is there any particuar aircraft you hope to see when out and about spotting?
Perhaps slightly unusual however for me, I would love to see, in order, the following
1. RAF Lockheed Tristar
2. RAF VC-10
3. Nimrod (I missed it last year at Portrush)
4. Lockheed Constellation
5. MD-11
6. A340-600
If I was to catch any of these birds... I'd be well chuffed! :)

I wouldn't mind seeing a VC10 myself - and seeing the mighty Nimrod again would be nice.

I have video of the Constellation at Newtownards from late 90`s-have`nt got the foggiest how to upload it on to the net,but I would like to do that at some point.
I have videos from 3 of the Ard`s airshows(taken by me) and most of it is pretty decent quality.
Not wishing to rub it in but I`ve ssen all of those on your wish list Mr.Chips and flown on some as well. :D
Here is a shot of an RAF Tristar making a fast pass before returning to land at RAF Aldergrove I took in Aug 2005.Quality isn`t great.

*drool* you have me completely jealous Angry! I just hope to see them before the RAF start taking the A330's, even if it means I have to take a trip over to Brize Norton or an RAF base somewhere.
And a constellation at Ards? That must've been impressive! I didn't realise the runway was big enough to deal with a Constellation.
By the way, I forgot to add the Shorts 360 to my list!

The Connie wasn`t able to land at Ards-a few passes only, but I know it was able to land at St.Angelo-unfortunatly I wasn`t able to make it down there due to work commitments.
The Connie makes a lovely sound-same or similar engines to the B-29 I believe.
Nothing like the sound of a big radial engine. ;D ;D ;D

I've seen the VC-10 and the Nimrod. Adding to this I would have to say (in no particular order)
A380
Any military aircraft

There was a VC10 at Aldergrove a few days ago ..... :)
They visit from time to time, usually for a splash & dash.
