Thanks for posting this up Breney - yep there are still a few of us who've resisted the FB urge  ;D
Maybe I'm missing it in the blurb, but any idea how much they're charging for the whole experience?

I'm guessing you have to make your own way to MAN and that any charge from Airliner-Experience is just for the guided tour. A quick check last night showed a same-day return trip to MAN with Flybe would be approx £100.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the Nimrod and Concorde open to the public already?

It works out at about £50 for the tour (take the exchange rate). There's a ryanair flight at 9.99 euro over, and sure, if you changed carrier there you could probably get a flight home for 20 or so. Would mean flying from Dublin though. I looked last night and easy jet seemed to have some cheap flights from BFS.

From what I can gather the interior of the aircraft isn't open to public, only to groups like this, but I may be wrong

Both the Nimrod and Concorde are open to the public but it is only so many days in the year. I visited the Runway Visitor park last year on my way to RIAT and got the tour of Concorde and the Nimrod. I think it cost around £30 for the combined tour.

I'm debating wether it's worth going, or organise to go myself (or organise a group) and go over later in the year. It's awkward being on a Thursday, it would be better going later in the summer
