In the area on holiday and wondering if there is any good spots around Robin Hood Airport to see XH558 take off this Friday lunchtime for RNAS Yeovilton?

I've been thinking about taking a trip over to Heathrow or Manchester for the day, I found this website helpful for spotting locations. This is their Robin Hood guide.

Perfect! Thank you. Old Bawtry Road it is then.
Looks like she wont be at either Portrush or Newcastle so want the kids (and me) to see her flying one more time.

I wouldn't say just yet that she won't be at Newcastle or Portrush.

I think Portrush maybe the more likely IF the Vulcan makes it here this year. There have been some mention on the official facebook that they are at least looking into it and with it in Scotland on those two dates, its just a short jump across. Newcastle were bound to know people want the Vulcan, and I am pretty sure (not that I am in the know on it) that they would have at least tried for her.

I wouldn't rule out Newcastle just yet

Yeah, I don't think Newcastle's lineup is fully finished. I think there maybe 1 or 2 displays still not released. They were asked if it was the final line up and they said they could not answer that question.
What else flies out of Robin Hood? Is it only the Vulcan or are other airshow regular planes based there?

I am still praying that Newcastle or Portrush get her, I have not completly given up hope. Just no point in wasting the opertunity if this is turns out to be the last chance I get to see her in the air.
