Hi Chalkman and welcome to the forum :) Certainly an impressive sight. I had the opportunity to see the Shuttle on it's launch pad and the Vehicle Assembly Building. There was also to be a launch but unfortunately it was cancelled 10 minutes before launch :(

Yeah im heading to orlando this august so ill be taken a trip up to kennedy,so hopefully get to see the whole setup.

Welcome to the forum Chalkman! That 747 carrying the shuttle is an impressive sight. I would assume the shuttle would produce a bit of lift with it's stubby wings which would lighten the load the 747 has to carry whilst making handling a nightmare.

Are you heading to Orlando from BFS with Thompson or Globespan, or are you getting there from another airport?

Ahhh nice! US airways have some great 757's! Hope you have a great time there.
