That Air Cadet can run!
Three cars in the Naughty Field in the background, too.

Disembarking from BEA Vanguard at Aldergrove ( presumably, per the date )

Trans-Atlantic Canberra transiting, 1952
First to fly the Atlantic both ways in one day. Unfortunately very distorted audio.

I was at the show when Wallis crashed, and I really don't remember it being so bad.
Quite horrific now I see it again!

I was close to the cadet who sprinted over-when the crash happened no-one moved, then there was a cry of "for F`s sake go and help him",and the cadet was away like a scalded badger. :o

Really remarkable that Mr Wallis managed to walk away from that. Cat with nine lives.... and 'scalded badger' is a phrase I must employ.
King's Cup air race came to Ards in 1930!

Was that the Ards airshow in 86?
I was there, Peugeot-Talbot was the sponsor (as seen on the board) and we were in the sponsors enclosure/tent that year, but I really don't remember the crash.

SC.1 hovering. Disembarkation looks awkward!

SkySpy drone, 1976. Landing in net is definitely Queen's Island, not Farnborough. Unfortunately no audio of Mr Foreman speaking.

Aftermath of BEA Viking crash at Nutt's Corner, 1953

Seems rather pointless painting-out the flag on the tail whilst the camera crew recorded the process for general distribution, but there we go.
