Did you watch it? I though it was a very informative show and some of the vintage footage was fantastic. Could believe either that 444 airfields were built in Britain during the Second World War.

Yeah indeed i did watch it,vintage clips were just great,if only we could get that close to planes now  ;D ;D

I believe I saw some of this during Tuesday night on BBC 4. It was well worth watching with clips from Heathrow and Manchester, and some stuff from Liverpool aswell.
