Taken from the Chief Constables annual report. An addition police helicopter on it's way.
The Police helicopter continues to provide extensive support to all aspects of policing within Northern Ireland, attending over 2000 incidents,
including missing persons, search and rescue and casualty evacuations. The helicopter has also played an integral role in Serious Crime operations. We are presently acquiring an additional helicopter to provide further support in accordance with the Policing Plan.
