Hi there! We visited Helsinki Airport a few days ago although it was pretty cloudy and dark so not many shots. Dave has convinced me to post a few photos here and he will do the same when he gets home tomorrow :D
We will hopefully be going to Zurich in August so we will be sure to catch some big aircraft there :D

It is indeed :) Someone else got a photo of Noora photographing me photographing the plane :D I must post all the photos in order for that!

;D Lots of heat haze at Dublin today. I didn't bother sticking around after landing as we were delayed an hour after problems with Swedish airpsace meaning a rerouting through Denmark/Germany. Also all the good stuff was gone when I arrived :(
I *might* nip down to Dublin for the day on Thursday.
Helsinki was cloudy during my visit so didn't get any decent photos this trip! Sigh! Next time though! ;D
Kiitos Noora :)

Thanks! Yea that's him, being busy taking photos of Aeroflot A319. ;D
Here's a few more photos from Helsinki although the quality isn't that great. I'm actually thinking about getting an slr at the moment!

Brrrrr, that last pics was in freezing conditions! Good times though!
I made sure I got some wing shots on the flight home today :D The aircraft was only EI-DEP, an A320, rather than the A321 we were treated to on the flight to Helsinki.

If they were taken with a point and shoot camera I'm going to have to give up my DSLR and get one. Fantastic shots.
Brilliant shots Dave, especially the last two.

Good Pic's there Dave...it you are going to come down tommorow try and get some sleep first... ;D and i'm off work so if you are interested when things get boring at EIDW i'll bring you for a spin over to EIME and EIWT and you can get a few pic's of some planes that dont have Ryanair or Aer Lingus written on them.... Just give me a few hours notice this time.... ::) ;D :LOL On that note if you can confirm your coming down i'll see if i can arrange a visit to the museum at EIME if you would be interested....http://www.aviationmuseum.eu/World/Europe/Ireland/Baldonnel/Air_Corps_Museum.htm

Nice one, hopefully you can catch it! I'm gutted I'm missing this as I have yet to see a KC135 outside of an airshow let alone photograph one! Good luck with catching it!

Haha thanks again. :) The A340 photo in my first post was actually taken with my old Canon Powershot A540, not too bad!
I just bought myself Canon EOS 450D + EF-S 18-55 IS + EF-S 55-250 IS kit. Couldn't wait for any longer! ;D
