Hi Everyone, new guy so please be gentle,
Just wondered if there was any local owners of SBS-1 that may consider sharing with openatc.com, there is generally good coverage of NI however the signal seems to go once the AC coasts out to join a NAT.
Great to be here and hope I can contribute in some way, have been working at BFS for 15 years now so any questions about the "big" airport I will be happy to try and answer.

:Welcome: Hi Super and welcome to the forum. I believe Vortex has one but he hasn't been on the forum for a few months now.

It's great to have you and all contributions are always appreciated :) So we'll now have some inside info :LOL

Thanks for the welcome casper, it would be great to have a local sbs, would buy one myself except the wife thinks that sort of money should be spent on silly things like holidays :o
Wish I had the price of her shoes ;D

I agree. It's amazing how £50 on a haircut or £100 on a pair of shoes is fine for them, but us spend that sort of money on something that will last, well..... :)

Am also a newbie to this site so apologies if this question has an obvious answer
I was also thinking about getting an SBS-1 but is it true that it won't pick up aircraft like the Dash's that come into the City Airport??
Thanks!

:Welcome: Hi Midas and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately I don't own one so can't answer your question :(

Thanks Casper!
I'll maybe bite the bullet some of these days and get one anyway. However, I share the earlier 'wife' sentiments!
