Post by: Airymouse on January 30, 2017, 03:37:02 PM
A virtual reality walk around this collection using Google Earth reveals the most unusual collection of aircraft I have ever seen.

I know a few people that have been there, some really odd and rare airframes, sadly many are not in the best of condition.

I was surprised to learn that most of the maintenance work is done by volunteers.

The military base on which the museum is located is being closed-down, apparently most of the 'smaller' exhibits will be moved to other museums but the big stuff like the airliners and V-12 and the T-4 will probably remain.
