Yesterday saw the first visit by a USAF C-17 to Casement... It was Reach 496 Serial 01-0189, operated by the 437 Air Wing, Charleston AFB, South Carolina. Unfortunately i was away at work all day and only caught a glimpse of it as i was on the way home to grab my camera... it had left by the time i go home ::) At least someone else managed to get a couple of pics.... :D

I managed to get a couple of shots of it for the record but the light was very poor so they're not great

Two detainees who were being held at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, have been sent to Ireland to be resettled.
The men have not been identified, but are understood to be citizens of Uzbekistan.
They landed in Dublin on Saturday evening and will enter a resettlement programme.

Could they not have used something a bit smaller and more discreet if they are wanting to re-settle people ::)
Would have been nice to see it all the same
