Post by: kingsavo on October 01, 2009, 11:44:10 AM
just seen a VLM fokker take off from the city! from looking at the departures it might possibly be operating the flybe edinburgh flight. so does anyone know if this is just a one of or if it might be on this route for a wee while? because unfortunately i had no camera with me!

Yup, likely to be one of VLM's Fokker 50's. My friend sent me a message saying he saw one arrive this morning. Chance's are Flybe are leasing the aircraft off VLM for a short while, which they seem to do every so often.

In my opinion, the Fokker F27/F50 are fantastic looking aircraft so it would be nice to see one again at BHD.

OO-VLJ operated the BEE682/683 which would of been the EDI flight :).
