Hi

Their current fleet is under Blue Sky Investments

I'll try to dig out historical ones too.

It was put-up for sale a few years ago but is now derelict.  Was last seen at their hangar in Ards.

PA27 G-CALL still flies to NI and used to be one of theirs too.

One of their very first aircraft was PA27 G-AWER became G-OSNI and then withdrawn after nearly 40 years service.

They also had some PA24s in the early years.  Or so I thought but Flight from 1969 says it was a PA-28-180

I'd forgotten about G-AWER / G-OSNI, the one used for Ordnance Survey work.

I've found PA-28-140 G-ATRR, 1969 to 1981.

From 1978 to 1998 they also had PA-28-161 G-BFWK, in later years shunted to their subsidiary Marham Investments for disposal.

Didn't the underwrite the fleet for Manx Flyers too?  That'd add a couple.  Actually it seems that G-ATRR went to Manx Flyers after Woodgate and later came back to Blue Sky for disposal.  What a web of intrgue!

Great list!

So all these companies are linked:

Woodgate Aviation Ltd, Belfast
Woodgate Air Services (IOM) Ltd, IOM
Woodgate Air Maintenance Ltd, IOM *dissolved*
Woodgate Executive Air Charter UK Ltd, IOM *dissolved*
Manx Flyers Aero Group, IOM
Marham Investments Ltd, same address as above
Blue Sky Investments Ltd, IOM
Keen Leasing (IOM) Ltd

It seems that Marham Investments shutdown around 2006 and its aircraft transferred to either Blue Sky or Keen.

G-UCAM is the one now used for Ordnance Survey work. Has been specially modified to take a large digital camera when necessary. Painted "Subaru" metallic blue.

Keen Leasing (IOM) Ltd

The Keen family were all at one point ( and possibly all at the same point ) directors of Woodgate, as well as of [ Keen Air Charter, flyKeen, Euromanx ] those those latter always had a separate AOC from Woodgate.

Hope this adds to the general confusion etc.

Edit: here's a piccy of Mr Keen Sr with the JS31, I'm sure we dug the reg out in a previous thread yonks ago:
