A few weeks ago I went on a trip to Glasgow with my mate Chris. I had booked my ticket first and was planning on spotting for two days. But then Chris booked a flight so I left the D40 at home and went and got drunk for 2 days!
I took a wee small compact Sony with me and of course being a geek I tried my hand at photographs out the plane window! So I got myself a good seat just behind the wing and got the camera out. And was then told by a rather grumpy Ryanair FA that I had to turn the camera of during takeoff and landing! >:( Never a problem on flybe I must say.
As I was sitting right in the middle of the plane and the FA's sit and the front and the back, I of course just waited until they're seated and couldn't see what I was doing! Anyway here are some of the results!

A few more. I have been told that this is Donaghadee in the last one!

A few more. Flaps starting to go down just as we break through the cloud in the last one.

Probably the town of Prestwick in the first one. Oh and Wizz Air just about to pick up a crowd of Poles.

Now we were sober enough for a few hours upon arrival to do some of the touristy things like Kelvingrove Art Gallery and George's Square. So I hope I won't be shouted at for adding a few pics of a city I love!
That's a Monet in the third and a Van Gogh in the last picture.

First one is the Charing Cross / Sauchiehall area viewed from our 7th floor hotel room. 2nd one I like. And the last one....there is ALWAYS a traffic cone on that guy's head!

Nice series of photos - especially taken with a compact. Really like the one with flaps and spoilers blown.

Great set of shots, sad to see the Ikea carpark empty on such a sunny day ;)
Shame you didn't get around to spotting but I guess getting drunk is a good alternative :D
