Anyone catch anything over Newcastle around 3:58pm? Quite a low aircraft but in the distance heading out over the sea in a south east direction. Herc/Defender? Looked to be on the exact course military use when they go out of Belfast over this area.

Hi, Flightradar 24 and Plane Finder are very hit and miss for executive jets with the latter being the more likely to identify the registration but not always! Does anyone know of a better more accurate flight tracking system available as an App?
Hasy

Does anyone know of a better more accurate flight tracking system available as an App?
Hasy
You'll need to use one of the enthusiast networks for that level and consistency of data, of which I think only Planeplotter has an app as such: PlanePlotter Mobile (http://www.planeplottermobile.com/). However it has some restrictions if you're not a Planeplotter feeder.
There's also a Radarbox app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airnav.android.free&hl=en_GB) from but I know nothing about Airnav other than they produce a pricey ADS-B receiver. Don't know if they implement registration eliding but being commercial and USA-based I'd guess they would implement the FAA BAR list at a minimum.
If you're not constrained to using an app, the 360Radar webpage has a mobile browser version which works fine even on my ancient Samsung S4. It's what I primarily use when out and about.
