Title: New winglets for Airbus A320 series

Starting from 2012, New Airbus A320 aircraft will be delivered with new winglets will increase the aircrafts range by 110 nautical miles or allow an extra 500kg in payload.

They look alot better than the current wingtip fences used. At the moment there is no possibility to retrofit the new winglets on to older aircraft however something is in the pipelines to eventually do so.

Thats an impressive amount extra benefits for something as small as winglets !

That means that the drag will be reduced so decrease the fuel consumption and extra distance brilliant just like the A380's winglets
