Title: Nutts Corner

Came across the Britain from Above archive, which seems to have just been published. Came across "International Alloys, Maghaberry, Lisburn, Northern Ireland, 1947".

Obviously, it's aircraft production (?) during the war years, but can anybody shed further light on this?

Looks like aircraft (Short Stirlings I think) parked up waiting to be scrapped-I have seen similar shots before-very sad.

The photo was taken at Maghaberry 1947 if I recall correctly,also some Wellingtons there possibly.

Ah, I was taking Maghabery to be Nutts corner - didn't even think of the airfield down there. Didn't realise they were scrapped here
