Title: Virgin Atlantic or BA?
Post by: jn88 on June 20, 2018, 07:05:51 PM
Hi folks,

Looking at return flights to Vegas for next Easter. Prices are decent but there’s a good level of choice. Flights available from MAN, LGW and LHR with Virgin and BA.

Anyone flown with both who could give some advice on which is better to go for?
Range of aircraft too - Virgin: 787 or A332, BA: 747 or 777

Any advice would be great! Thanks!
J

B787 the best for avoiding jetlag, composite materials mean they can pump more fresh air in, but you can never turn down a sail in a jumbo lol

Can't help with Virgin but have flown the BA 744 to Seattle a few times in recent years and I think once a T7.

I love the 744 but the BA ones I flew were definitely showing their age. One in particular was pretty rough. However as someone said-its a 744!
