Title: New Chinooks in service-after 15 year delay!
Post by: Angry Turnip on January 13, 2010, 09:15:21 PM
Two new Chinook Mk 3`s have finally been delievered to the RAF 15 years after they were purchased by the MOD-they have spent the last 8 years being upgraded by Boeing at Boscombe Down.

Must have been on a part time basis if it took 8 years to complete two aircraft :o

Probably given as a reward to the new recruits - 'Here son, good job on that Tornado. As a reward go and stick a new rivet in that Chinook over there'
