Title: Aussie on Holidays wants to fly in Northern Ireland
Post by: Pindan on August 08, 2019, 07:56:47 PM
Hiya,

Just trying to find out if there is any recreational flying in NI. I have a Jabiru 230 at home. There used to be a airport for microlights near achadoey does it still exist?

Thanks Paul

Try Causeway Airfield.....http://www.causewayairfield.co.uk/

or if your on Sadbook https://www.facebook.com/CausewayAirfield/

or The Ulster Flying Club at Newtownards...http://ulsterflyingclub.com/2017/  They can keep you right regarding license etc.

Good Luck and bring some blue sky with you please. ;-)

Kernan Aviation down at Tandragee would be the place to go. Quite central in NI too
