There have been some worrying rumours about BB Memorial Flight but this MoD post is quite positive;

Doesn't really affect us as unless the weather is perfect we don't get to see them :(

I think and hope there would be a national outcry if the BBMF was wound up :o
It is frustrating that we don`t get to see them that often,but they fly under VFR rules and only operate very limited airtime and only in good weather and I suppose we just have to accept that.
Makes it all the more special when you do get to see them,the sound of six Rolls Royce Merlins is fantastic! ;D ;D ;D

Agree with you Angry. It really makes it more special when they do get through. And from memory we haven't done too badly - Lanc twice, Spit three times, Hurricane twice, Dak once. (inc. appearances at NW200)
