Title: Navy Wings Sea Fury down

The Navy Wings Sea Fury T.20  came down today just short of RNAS Yeovilton. Plane looks in bad shape sitting upside down in a field with wings ripped off and engine broken off further down the field,  but both pilots safe and were taken to hospital as a precaution.

That's a huge loss for Navy Wings with the Sea Vixen out of action long term too. I believe they have one other Sea Fury but I am not sure if it is airworthy or not. Aircraft was VX281 and is its 2nd accident in the last 7 years.

The Bristol Centaurus engine used in the Sea Fury and other types, was known for being a bit of a pig reliability wise, I recall a FB11 version VX390 had to abort it`s display at Ards one year and limp back to EGAA with an engine problem (blown cylinder I believe).

I hope the crew make a full recovery.
