Title: Jetphotos uploads
Post by: Jimi182 on September 28, 2021, 01:44:12 PM
Hi all.

I have a few photos of planes I'd like to upload to Jetphotos, see if they get used.

Has anyone got any tips for uploading - Jetphotos does seem to be quite strict about the size/ratio of the photo?

Thanks,

Jim

The main thing to remember with the aviation photo websites, is to only try to upload your very best pictures, and stick to what their guidelines are.

Yes I know about only using the best photos. I have one or two that I think would be worth trying. It's getting them configured into the 1290x800 size that's the issue. Most of mine are 4800x2700 roughly. When I resize them, they look awful.

If you resize them from 4800 x 2700 to 1290 x 800 in one go that can sometimes cause quality problems.

Have you tried reducing the pics gradually by say 600 or 700 at a time until you get near the 1290x800 level , that might help.

I'll give that a go.
