Title: Does anyone know where the AN-225 is at the moment.

Post by: rookie on March 04, 2022, 10:07:08 PM: Sad end to a piece of history. I doubt they'll be able to salvage anything. If you look at the shrapnel wounds to her nose who's to say the engines aren't riddled with shrapnel?? In any case where is the spare/ only airframe now left located?

Was awaiting uncarrige repair after a hard landing, from what I've read.

I read that it's at an Antonov manufacturing facility somewhere in Kyiv. I read that on the internet, so value it as you will. If it's true, I suppose it's not super secure either :/

Sviatoshyn, and there was a piece on Al Jazeera the other day about Libyan planes stored there being in danger.
