Something very fast just left BFS at approx 1957;very low cloud base and rain/snow so didnt see it-when I turned radio on it was changing over to Scottish contol-didn`t hear the callsign but I suspect it was a Tornado GR4.

It went past our house at a hell of a rate-must have been very low as well.Pity didnt get to see it-what a horrible day to do your last farewell. :'(
I belive the Ulster Aviation Society were offered one but it is too big apparently. :(

:o That's a shame, a Nimrod in a musem collection would have been fantastic! I would even have offered to store it in my back garden ;D

I see another campaign looming for us all!! Last one seemed to go pretty well..
Imagine the crowd that a Nimrod would draw..
I smell an opportunity for UAS to look at something like the East Fortune facility in Scotland
Having something like a Nimrod as a centre piece would be pretty darn close in Northern Ireland terms to having a Concorde.
