Title: Fast jet just out of BFS
Post by: Angry Turnip on March 29, 2010, 08:09:02 PM
Something very fast just left BFS at approx 1957;very low cloud base and rain/snow so didnt see it-when I turned radio on it was changing over to Scottish contol-didn`t hear the callsign but I suspect it was a Tornado GR4.

:o  That's a shame, a Nimrod in a musem collection would have been fantastic! I would even have offered to store it in my back garden  ;D

I see another campaign looming for us all!!  Last one seemed to go pretty well..
Imagine the crowd that a Nimrod would draw..
I smell an opportunity for UAS to look at something like the East Fortune facility in Scotland
Having something like a Nimrod as a centre piece would be pretty darn close in Northern Ireland terms to having a Concorde.
