Post by: Hammerhead on April 08, 2010, 10:25:51 PM
The first sign of summer is the arrival into Casement of the French Air Force Alpha jets on a Nav exercise
These two arrived yesterday around 4pm and departed this morning at 9am... i was lucky to get these as i was taking the pics into what little light there was....

Yes Michael the Alpha jets are using Casement as the the last call during Navex that involve them calling at  Lakenheath-RAFValley-Casement
...  so much so that someone on another forum suggested renaming Casement as Base Aerienne Casement  ::) :LOL
These ones are the second pair this year, the first ones were on the 17th of march, Perhaps they will join the parade next year   :LOL
Im hoping there will be some around on the 4th of June.... 8)

Four FAF Alpha Jets arrived into Baldonnel yesterday evening
I  caught them departing this morning , however it was raining and very overcast so most of the pics are too dark to use...
However I did manage to edit this one with the special tail, Marking the Alpha Jets 30 years in French service.
